Why can't I receive sms on my phone

I am not able to make or receive international texts or calls from my number. The affected number are 08034898113 and 09066811270

Hi Oluwaferami, if you have active incoming call barring on your line, you will not be able to receive SMS also. You also need to delete unwanted messages in your phone in case if your inbox is filled up.
You also need to check if you have the correct MTN message center number on your line. To do that, On your phone, visit your message settings, select SMS or Text Messages, then choose MTN, select Message Centre and edit by deleting any number you see there. Type in +234803000000.

If the issue persist, you need to contact MTN support for resolution.
