No internet connection

I bought a new Mifi today it worked just fine at the place I got it but as soon as I got him it hasn’t been working.It keeps saying no internet connection but I have data on the SIM card I use for the Mifi. I even tried connecting to my laptop and DNS wasn’t found it wasn’t connecting to the internet. How do I fix the problem please?
