The current NCC(Nigerian Communication Commission) directives to all telecom operators are that you can link a maximum of four (4) lines to your NIN with a telecom operator. I would advise that you only link your most important MTN lines ⚟ to your NIN. Once it is detected that you have linked more than 4 MTN lines to your NIN, the others would be deactivated from service.

Since this is a Policy of NCC, it MAY be reviewed, but as for now do ensure you link your most important lines to your NIIN.

If all the lines include other networks, you can still use the lines, but if MTN lines are more than 4, in accordance with NCC directive, MTN will deactivate the excess lines and leave 4 lines for you.
