Can I enjoy Broadband eligibility rights without using the sim that was in the pack when I bought it?

I bought a MiFi device last year. Because I had two MTN SIMs, I decided not to use the SIM in the packet. This means that I did not collect that SIM. What should I do to qualify for the rights I should have enjoyed?
